Installation Instructions:

Click on the link below to download the install pack to your PC. Save the file in a location that you can find. Unzip the file using your favorite ZIP utility. The ZIP archive is password protected. You will need the password to unzip the file. Open the *.exe and the setup program will install the software on your PC. Follow the prompts.

If you are installing a new build of the same release, you must do an uninstall before installing the newer build. The setup will not permit you to overwrite a prior build of the same release.

Notes on VISTA Install:

The user running the install must have administrative privileges (be a member of the administrator group).
Only the user that runs the setup will see the DVD Register installation
It is recommended that the user running the DVDR in production have administrative privileges.

This is the standard installer for the Microsoft Access 2003 runtime. Downlaod this is you need the runtime and have already downloaded a DVD Register install pack.

Revision Notes: The DVD Register, Release 1.23.12.01 (First Build) Built May 31, 2010

The Release 1.23.12.01 install script was revised to correctly detect Access 2010 (aka Access 14). Access 2010 was released by Microsoft in May 2010. If Access 2010 is installed on the PC, then it will be used as the host application for the DVDR.

BUG FIXES:

During a Live Update, a warring would occur: “There isn't enough disk space or memory to undo the data changes this action query is about to make”. The update procedure was changed to suppress this warning.
The Release 1.23.12.01 install script was revised to correctly detect Access 2010 (aka Access 14). Access 2010 was released by Microsoft in May 2010.If Access 2010 is installed on the PC, then it will be used as the host application for the DVDR.

CHANGES TO THE REFERENCE CATALOG:
The local reference catalog was rebuilt from the factory reference catalog that was benchmarked on May 29, 2010. This new factory catalog includes all corrections made to the reference catalog. All Catalog Updates through Update 182 are present in this rebuilt catalog.
