Installation Instructions:

Click on the link below to download the install pack to your PC. Save the file in a location that you can find. Unzip the file using your favorite ZIP utility. The ZIP archive is password protected. You will need the password to unzip the file. Open the *.exe and the setup program will install the software on your PC. Follow the prompts.

If you are installing a new build of the same release, you must do an uninstall before installing the newer build. The setup will not permit you to overwrite a prior build of the same release.

Notes on VISTA Install:

The user running the install must have administrative privileges (be a member of the administrator group).
Only the user that runs the setup will see the DVD Register installation
It is recommended that the user running the DVDR in production have administrative privileges.

Choosing an Install Pack:

If you have a retail version of Microsoft Access already installed on the PC then download Pack No. 1. Access is normally part of Office Professional.
If you need Access, the download Pack No. 2 which includes a royalty-free run time version of Miscrsoft Access 2003.

KNOWN BUGS:

When running under VISTA, the File>Movies to Discs command causes an error upon opening and reports an SQL issue.
When running under Vista, the File>Images Grid form causes Access 2007 to crash when the grid is generated.

BUG FIXES:

NEW FEATURES & MODIFICATIONS:

Reports: The text based reportes got a face lift. More specifically the following changes were made:

Outlines were tuned down in general.
Data is shown as blue text where it is necessary to distinguish data from labels.
The MPAA, CX, CC images were removed and replaced with text
Check boxes were replace with Yes/No fields
Fonts were changed to make the reports use Arial font more consistently
Some terminology used in labels was changed such as “MPAA” was changed to “Rating”.

CHANGES TO THE REFERENCE CATALOG:

Incremental reference updates DVDCAT145 - DVDCAT155 were incorporated.
